i was there. not in CT though. i first saw the maniacs perform in the summer of
1988 at the piers in nyc. their last album had been "in my tribe" i know that john and mary would sometimes open up for them, and that was even more frosting on a delicious cake.
those days were the best times of my life, and l knew it at the time, that i was living the best days i would ever have.
i am grateful that i knew that then and could appreciate those great old days.
