In Tangier down a windy street
Where beggars meet and on old rags do sleep
The women dressed in soiled white sheet
With starving kids by their side.
With staring eyes that never weep
Old Moroccans with their elephantiasis feet
Who life and death treat so cheap
Happy in their hunger
For they live longer than their fathers.
In Tangier down a windy street
Where beggars meet and on old rags do sleep
The women dressed in soiled white sheet
With starving kids by their side.
With staring eyes that never weep
Old Moroccans with their elephantiasis feet
Who life and death treat so cheap
Happy in their hunger
For they live longer than their, than their, than their fathers.

Aw, I love the letterman. My parents went to both concerts when they came here, and I went to one of them. This song always makes me cry, and my dad! lol, it's very sweet.

This song is just amazing. I think Donovan is a great dude, and a great father. I've looked up to all of these guys growing up, and they were there for me (Donovan, Tony, Darren, Bobby, and Mark) when my father wasn't there for me. So, all the best to The Lettermen

Thanks for posting. I saw the Lettermen this summer and bawled through the whole song (I have a two year old girl).
